Crossfire and Impact partner up for ET Masters

Click here for more info As announced yesterday, there have been two tournaments held by Impact Gaming and Crossfire. After a short conversation in the evening, both organisations came to the conclusion to partner up and bring you one very big and awesome tournament right to the gates! We have increased the prize money to 500€ however we will definately announce atleast one additional sponsor in the upcoming days.
01/18 19.27 - ESL TV and ESL ESLTV's FlyingDJ added a few premium accounts for this cup's winners! The top of the top will receive premium codes to tune in ESLTV or use the advantages of an ESL premium account.
01/16 22.00 - YCN adds prizes! YCN Hosting joins the cup with adding game servers for the first and second division as additional prizes! Check the news post for more details.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
- Teams will be split into atleast 2 divisions
- The masters division (highest) will have space for 16 teams
- 12 will be invited and 4 spots left for teams to qualify
- Each group will consist of at least 6, and a maximum of 8 teams
- The 1st of each group will pass to the playoffs
- The 2nd, 3rd and 4th will join an elimination bracket
- The second divison will consist of upto 64 teams
- If there are more sign ups, we will add one more division atleast
- Mod to be used will probably be the new version of etace, check it out
- Matches will be played using the European 6vs6 match config
- Anyone serving a cheating related ban from Crossfire is not welcome in this competition +
This also includes players banned for multiple accounts. For any hints, message an admin via irc. If any player will be find with a multi account, your team will be removed from the cup. If you have more than one account contact an admin to remove your unused one.

- Maps will be bremen, delivery, goldrush, radar, supply in their most recent version +
There will be atleast one cup running different maps, including frostbite, adlernest, oasis, warbell, snatch, secret weapon and every other map that comes to your mind.

- Detailed rules will be published before the cup starts

Crossfire Challenge 6

Team dESIRE. is preparing itself to the Crossfire Challenge 6. After the Crossfire Challenge 5 without succes, dESIRE. will be back with more training and an other line up. The captain Bruceh have pick an other line up call Rizk, to remplace DrTank, inactif, cause of too much school works. Since kEEJi got his internet back, dESIRE. will train more than the last edition. The Crossfire Challenge 6 will be play the 3/4/5 April 2009 at Enshende, in the Wizzard room.

Crossfire Challenge 5

Well, after winning 2 consecutives LANs, the craze for those competitions were important. Even before the announcement of the CC5, dESIRE. had already begun to participate in it. But because of the absence of kEEJi and lack of training, it looked to be a failure. Once in Enschende, the team (consisting of Bruceh (c) Sinus kARn4J, K2K, DrTank & kEEJI) was motivated to get the best possible results.

First day (Friday):
8am: All the dESIRE. was awake, we started taking our cues.
13pm: The first game against VAE can begin. We had a bit of pressure and did not confide. Indeed it was too early for us and I believe that we can not expect a good result face a team as VAE. dESIRE.4 - 0> VAE
15h: We face charisme, we thought that we not to be confronted with to an obstacle but this team proved a very effective teamplay and after a tough battle, they eventually beat us. dESIRE. 4 - 0 charism
17h: Last game of the day! We now face the strong team TAG. A great match took place between 2 teams, the whole commented by Mr Tosspot, we offered a nice match to the spectators whose were very tight but unfortunately concluded by dESIRE. 0 - 4 TAG.
19h: dESIRE. came back to the Hostel and prepared food.
00h: dESIRE. sleep.

Second day (sunday):
Saturday is important for us, all matches are in direct elimination, we mustn't lose any matchs.
12:45pm: First game of the day against zero, the match looked not be a problem for us, in fact we won fairly easily. dESIRE 4 - 0 zeroE late afternoon: We played against epic-fail, a match dominated by dESIRE with a nice full-tank on Goldrush. dESIRE result 4 - 0 eF After a day of victories, dESIRE knew to appreciate the differents qualities of coffee shop and was able to go to bed dreaming of their victory.

Last day:
Anaconda told us to to wake up early because we had to play our first match at 9 am, awake 7am, we reached 8.50 and unfortunately our opponents had to drop the competition and we won by forfeit against OVERLOAd. result dESIRE 4 - 0 OVERLOAd
10:30 am: The final losers against atoon. We had a bit of pressure because we were playing our place in the CC5 with this game. Just the match started, we were confient and have crushed our opponents dESIRE 4 - 0 aToOn

We finally get the 13th place of CC5.

Conclusion: This LAN was very strong emotions, thank you to all the organizers and thank you to all players with whom we have heard very well. We came back to France delighted by this event and ambitious for the future!

FRENCHLAN II

The team dESIRE. is proud to anounced that they won the Frenchlan, second edition. After winning every macths of groupe stage, they beat there opponent one by one. After loosiong only one round during the tournament (against CBZ on SP delivery), they finally won against san08 4 - 0 on Supply, who was quite close and then on goldrush.
